Touch of the Silencer, Veltboule (断詠手套 ヴァルトブール) is a treasure embodying the concepts surrounding a sphinx famed as a mage killer. It is a special reward created from the Ancient Legendary UBM, Veltboule. It appears as a pair of gloves, long enough to cover Rook's elbows that is made from a blue, leather-like material and decorated by an intricate pattern of golden metal. Rook received it as an S-rated prize from a gacha roll. Veltboule increases Rook's MP and SP by his total level times 10, and increases his resistance to mental interference debuffs and attack magic by 100%
- Silence (断詠): An equipment skill that negates any magic in its preparatory stages. It can be activated without saying the skill name simply by snapping the user's fingers.
- Law Bomb (法爆): An equipment skill that negates any magic in its preparatory stages and inflicts damage to the magic-user based on the amount of MP used in the magic. It is activated by opening and closing the user's hand; this does not include a skill name declaration. This skill can only be used once every 24 hours with each hand. This skill was originally unopened but became accessible due to Rook training with Shu Starling.
